Chronoswiss

The partnership between Spyker and Chronoswiss is based on a shared interest in mechanical engineering and traditional craftsmanship. Both brands emphasize visible construction, precision components, and hand-finishing—elements that are reflected in Spyker’s vehicles as well as Chronoswiss’ timepieces.
As part of this partnership, a series of limited-edition Chronoswiss Spyker watches was developed. These watches were produced in relatively small numbers and built around Chronoswiss’ mechanical movements, with a focus on classical watchmaking techniques such as regulator-style displays, guilloché dials, and hand-assembled components.
In their design, the watches incorporate several characteristics associated with Spyker. These include the use of high-grade metals, structured dial layouts, and visual references to aviation, such as propeller-inspired motifs and instrument-style subdials. Case construction and finishing follow Chronoswiss’ established approach, with features such as fluted bezels, onion-shaped crowns, and sapphire case backs that reveal the movement.
The result is a collection of timepieces that connects visually to Spyker’s design language without departing from Chronoswiss’ horological identity. Rather than introducing entirely new forms, the collaboration adapts existing watchmaking elements to reflect automotive influences.
Chronoswiss also developed an optional package for the Spyker C8 Spyder, C8 Laviolette, and C8 Aileron models. This package includes bespoke dials and switches for the interior, with a design and finish inspired by mechanical watchmaking. The intention is to create a consistent aesthetic between the vehicle and the timepieces.
Notable features include knurled surfaces, detailed numerals, and a focus on balance and legibility. These elements contribute to an interior in which technical function and design are closely integrated.
